Hey guys!
I got back from Nashville just last Thursday.
Friday was a crazy-busy day. I did some voice-over work as ‘Becky’, a badger, in an upcoming episode of Penguins of Madagascar! I also did a few fun voice-overs for some Sam stuff and shot a bunch of Hollywood Hang behind-the-scenes clips and bits. Then, I went to a Teen Vogue party that evening and was able to see some of my friends there! It’s always great catching up with friends.

I have a few writing sessions in LA this week, plus a photoshoot and several meetings… then, on Friday, it’s BACK TO NASHVILLE! I can’t believe I’ll have barely been gone for a week and then I’m going right back. I’ll be doing a lot of demo-ing during my next trip as well as a few more songwriting sessions and some important meetings!

I’ve always thought apartments and hotels were pretty cool to live in. I don’t know if this is true to you, I hope it is, but it’s funny how seemingly everyday, your dreams are coming true. Now you’re living your life in a hotel, other times your back home in your house in LA, you’re always trying out stuff (as long as it’s safe and everything), you’re practically fearless, which Taylor Swift would define it I think like, fearless is about being afraid but taking the chances anyway. Glad to see you’re enjoying the experience of making an album! Sounds like a lot of work and travel. When do you have to be back to filming iCarly? Do they have enough episodes in the can to give you a break? My son, Avery, loves iCarly. He has Autism and the program just seems to communicate to him, he connects. I thank all of you involved for making the program so good.

Hey I just read your blog that is so cool I wish I could go to Nashville to record it must be so great! I left you a message on one of your other blogs a long time ago telling you about my favorite books the pretty little liars series well I am reading another series it is called the Luxe series it is set in 1899 and is so good I can’t really explain it you would just have to read it to get it. I think its kinda funny when the charcters say things like girls should never wear jeens because if people in the 18 hundreds really thaught that they would be freaking out if they saw us now.Well anyway just thaught I’d tell you about these books maybe in your little bit of free time you can read one of them or maybe even all of them : ) lol it would give you somthing to do on the plain rides to Nashville and back.

hey jennette, you’ll proably won’t read this but i have a question: on youtube you always sing english songs but have you ever thought singing in a different language? i was looking for a song which fits you. if you want you can look at youtube. the singer’s called annett louisan and she makes beautiful german songs. the best songs are “das große erwachen” (ß is like ss) and “das gefühl”. if they are too difficult to sing i would understand it but it would be soo awesome if you sing a german song for all your german fans. if you like the song just email me and i translate it for you. thanks and you rock =)

I just wanted to open my comments by saying i admire you as a romodel for todays children, you work very well with kids and i just would like to thank you for being the way you are, cool, smart, funny, and a very respectful person at that..i recently a while back just started watching icarly..never thought i would since im 19 and that all outdoor kinda guy..the type who likes adventure..but its just inspiring to me that there are big stars in hollywood that still care about the well being of todays youth. You show good romodeling by not drinking and all that corupt junk…you never once turn down a kid in need or anything. Jennette I listened to your singles on itunes. You have a very good voice. You sound a lot like Shania Twain. But my advice is to not try and sing too high. On the high notes I think you were straining to do them. By bringing the key down a little, an example like from D to C or B or A When you sing the song try dropping a half step till you find the perfect key for you to sing it in. ( Not too high and not too low ) Your voice will get lower with age anyway this would help you sing those songs in the future too.

After fully downloading both singles ( So Close and Homeless Heart ) I think Homeless Heart is in the perfect key and songs great. I think when I was listening to clip of So Close is when I thought it might be a key too high for you but listening to the full song I think you handle it great. Your a good singer Keep singing! I can tell you enjoy singing. Two great songs!!!

My friends sometimes compare me with you because they think that i have an incredible voice, in my sixth grade i was voted with best voice in the whole entire classroom.
